Save Data and Your History: Privacy Mode
Privacy mode, also known as "Incognito Mode" or "Private Browser," is a feature available in various web browsers that disables the saving of history and web cache. When activated, this mode ensures that the browser does not retain any history or cache data, providing a more private browsing experience. However, it is important to note that while your browsing history is not saved, this mode does not protect you from being tracked by websites or your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
How to Activate Incognito Mode
To enable Incognito Mode on different browsers, follow these steps:
Chrome Browser:
- Open the Chrome app.
- Tap on the three-dot icon in the upper right corner.
- Select "New Incognito Tab."
- A new window will open with an Incognito icon in the top left corner.
YouTube:
- Open the YouTube app on your device.
- Tap on your profile picture in the top right corner.
- Select "Turn on Incognito."
To exit Incognito Mode, simply close the tab or select the option to turn it off in your profile settings.
